Neel-Schaffer, Inc. currently has an opportunity for Roadway Designers in our Nashville, TN office. The work will include roadway/highway design and plans production for transportation projects. These individuals will provide day-to-day technical support to senior engineers and work closely with staff in our other Tennessee locations.
The ideal candidate for this position will:
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Possess strong organizational, math, and computer skills including Microstation and Geopak
Work with staff from other offices on projects
Have experience preparing TDOT plans
Have a strong desire to learn and grow as a professional
B.S. in Civil Engineering
Registered Engineer-in-training (EI) in Tennessee
2+ years of progressive transportation/roadway design experience
Experience using Microstation
Experience using Geopak
Additional Salary Information: Depending on Experience
