The Ultrason Technical Development manager role in North & South America is a newly created role supporting the technical aspects for Ultrason (high temperature thermoplastics, like polyethersulfone) sales in the region. The role will functionally report the Regional Ultrason Sales Manager and support all technical aspects of the business development and sales efforts in the region.

Formula for Success: You Will…
Identify, prioritize, and support all technical service and application development request for customers of Ultrason products.
Develop a list of known technical issues and work with global technical community to resolve.
Lead technical development projects with end-users, customers, and partners.
Interact and consult with industry partners, related associations, and other stakeholders through the value chain.
Coordinate with the Global Technical Team to track project progression, share solutions, and identify key technical hurdles.
Develop and execute technical aspects for accelerated growth of Ultrason products through custom color grades via toll compounding.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Bachelor degree required in a technical discipline; Mechanical/Chemical Engineering preferred
Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience in Polymer markets and materials with strong understanding of engineering polymers, high temperature materials, processing, molding, extrusion, blow molding, and other thermoplastic processes.
Good understanding of moldflow, structural analysis, and all other CAE tools.
Hands on experience in part design, metal to plastic conversion and assist customers to develop new Ultrason applications.
Experience in new business/market development is a plus
Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is preferred
