The Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI) of Grand Valley State University is seeking a geospatial ecologist/watershed modeler to complement the existing Faculty and Principal Investigators at AWRI. This is a 12-month, tenure-track position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with skills and experience.

A Ph.D. is required; postdoctoral experience is preferred. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated record of: conducting quality research; obtaining extramural funding for research and publishing findings in the peer-reviewed scientific literature; ability to teach graduate courses in field of expertise; and desire to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. Teaching responsibilities include advanced courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. Faculty members also advise undergraduate and graduate students, serve on academic committees, and perform community service.
