Searching for a Director of Operations in either Texas or Florida Regions. As the lead for all Operations and Maintenance projects for Roads and Highways in the region, you will successfully implement organizational-wide goals and strategies.
Functions key to success:
Responsible for mobilization of existing transportation infrastructure projects.
Increase presence in the region including start-up operations for new projects, locating field offices, as needed, hiring staff and securing all the resources (materials, tools, subcontractor partners) necessary to execute successfully.
Provide leadership through the direct supervision, mentoring and coaching of superintendents, project managers, estimators and field staff.
Oversee strategy development to achieve desired results in all areas of operation, including quality and safety initiatives, fiscal performance and employee relations.
Strengthen organization’s reputation and brand by acting as Company ambassador.
Network and build positive partnerships with all clients including vendors and subcontractors.
Stay current and track industry trends and source new business opportunities.
Supervise budgetary costs to ensure that expenses stay within budget.
Performance evaluated and measured through P&L.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Active P.E License in the State of TX and/or FL
Experience working with the Department of Transportation
Prior experience in transportation infrastructure
Capacity to motivate, lead and boost morale of large team
10+ year industry and management experience
