We are currently looking for a highly motivated SeniorFacilities Manager to lead our facilities team focused on maintaining and enhancing our site facilities and testing infrastructure.
Principal engineer for the design and management of capital improvement projects
Project manager for field inspection for construction projects.
Engineering support for the environmental and safety program
Contracting officer’s technical representative for contracts associated with design and construction of infrastructure improvements
Code compliance for building construction and modifications.
Significant budgetary responsibilities that can range up to $10 Million.
A Professional Engineer certification is required in either Mechanical or Civil Engineering discipline with demonstrable design and analysis skills
5 years’ experience in a management position within oversight of personnel, budgetary and planning responsibilities.
Ten or more years of experience in design/analysis, construction, facilities engineering or plant environment with engineering responsibilities.
Knowledge of codes and industry standards associated with construction and maintenance activities, including the International Building Code, National Fire Protection Association Codes / Standards, and related sections of the Code of Federal Regulations.
AutoCAD drafting to perform and/or supervise drawing development.
Structural analysis and design experience, along with geotechnical analysis and testing.
Good verbal and written communication skills with a working knowledge of MSWord and Excel programs.
Self-starter capable of working individually and with wide variety of site staff, external contractors and customers.
Requires the ability to read and interpret data, walk on uneven surfaces, sit, stand, bend, lift 30-50 lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions.
