The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing PERI's market position within the assigned region and developing a regional sales strategy to support the national business strategy. The Sales Manager will identify, develop and maintain customer relationships and facilitate growth in the region's customer base and project portfolio.

Develop a regional sales strategy to support the national business strategy
Produce a regional sales business plan
Implement the regional sales strategy using the business plan to drive, manage and monitor performance
Identify, develop and maintain customer relationships
Improve and maintain price quality to the greatest extent possible within region
Facilitate growth in the region’s customer base and project portfolio, in particular in / around the proximity of our yard locations
Create a strong and robust customer base and ensure PERI customers are satisfied customers
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage and develop key customer accounts
Lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Engineers
Lead Sales staff in daily operations
Establish and monitor performance goals of Sales staff
Identify necessary measures to increase sales performance
Conduct sales meetings with clients
Define standards in conjunction with Quality Manager/Business Excellence team
Ensure compliance with PERI standards, corporate image, and procedures.
Coordinating and initiating communication with all other departments to ensure proper and excellent project management and administration
Management of Sales staff for the timely closeout of projects
Responsible for accurate, timely and detailed forecasting in line with PERI group-wide standards and regulations
Manage and ensure effective and efficient coverage of sales opportunities
Extensive travel requirements
Extensive experience in the construction industry
Experience in sales or general management in the construction industry or affiliated industries (formwork/scaffolding sector preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Professional presentation skills
Strong analytical skills
Qualifications in negotiating
Microsoft Office proficiency
General understanding of engineering requirements related to the formwork and scaffold industry
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong and charismatic personality and able to lead and motivate a team
Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
