The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for a substantiation-track faculty position at Assistant/Associate Professor level in construction materials. Appointment at Professor level may also be considered for candidates with very strong academic record and international recognition.
Applicants must have a PhD degree in civil engineering with specialization in construction materials. Those who can contribute to the development of materials for green, resilient and smart infrastructure or 3D printing are particularly welcomed. The appointee is expected to demonstrate strong potential for effective teaching and promising research, as well as to play a key role in the development of projects in both fundamental and applied research.

Salary is highly competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including medical and dental benefits, annual leave, and housing benefits will be provided where applicable. Initial appointment at Assistant/Associate Professor level will normally be made on a 3-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract. Appointment at Professor level will be on substantive basis.
