The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Global Change and Photosynthesis Research Unit (GCPRU), is seeking a full time, permanent, Research Molecular Biologist (Plants) to join their research program. The GCPRU broadly aims to increase the efficiency and productivity of crop plant photosynthesis, growth and yield, especially in the context of global climate change and environmental uncertainty. The incumbent provides expertise in plant molecular biology, plant genetic engineering and/or systems biology on a project to identify and enhance determinants of photosynthate production and partitioning. The salary for this position is at the GS-12/13 level, $74,596.00 - $115,313.00 per year. This announcement will open 10/3/19 and will close on 10/24/19. U.S. Citizenship is required.
