Multiple postdoctoral positions are available immediately related to recently funded projects in biotherapies in the groups of Prof. Catherine Fromen, Prof. April Kloxin, and Prof. Abraham Lenhoff in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Delaware (UD). The positions broadly involve the design and application of flow-based devices for the production of cell therapies and the design of biomaterials for modulating cell function and fate. Postdoctoral researchers will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with scientists associated with industrial partners in addition to partners at UD. Candidates are sought with background or keen interest in 1) membrane processes and devices; 2) soft materials chemistry; 3) biomaterials and controlled cell cultures; and/or 4) cell therapies, especially related to T-cells or stem cells. The positions have a term of one year with opportunities for extension for multiple years and provide salary and full benefits.
