This position develops, directs and monitors pavement and soil investigations. This position uses information gathered from investigations and research to develop Material Design Recommendations for pavement surface type and thickness, grading, subgrade preparation, slope stabilization, and other materials related items and activities. This information is provided to various groups in the district to prepare plans and recommendations for construction. This position manages multiple projects at one time. This position acts to assist the Metro District Materials Engineer.
