The Center for Watershed Protection is a national 501(c) nonprofit organization that works with communities to provide clean water and healthy natural resources. For nearly 30 years, the organization has provided direct services and training to communities, conducted applied research, and developed a growing membership program. The Center is seeking to fill a newly created position—the Stormwater & Watershed Training Manager. The ideal candidate for this position would be a critical and strategic thinker with technical knowledge of stormwater management and outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. The Training Manager is expected to have top-notch organizational and time management skills. You must be able to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment while providing high level client service. The ability to speak comfortably to various audiences is essential. The Training Manager would be involved in the ANSI Accredited Clean Water Certificate (CWC) Training Program and professional training the Center provides. CWC Training Program for workforce development provides high quality training opportunities that promotes job growth in the stormwater industry and delivers industry specific, job-readiness skills and knowledge. Candidates will be innovative, work well in teams, and be adaptable to change. Most importantly, this candidate will possess a positive attitude, work to evolve CWP training into an industry leading program, and be willing to take on tasks in support of projects, teams, and the organization.
