Engineer III (N/S) - (Stormwater)
An employee in this class is responsible for participating in a variety of stormwater engineering assignments of more than average difficulty, which may include project development, analysis, design, permitting assistance, bid document preparation, construction observation, and related activities. Some positions require the employee to function as a civil project engineer. Others require the exercise of a high degree of technical knowledge and ability in applying principles of engineering to operations or maintenance functions, or in coordinating efforts to assist in proper development, implementation, and completion of major programs and projects on a city-wide basis.
