The Department of Buildings and General Services is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager position. We are accepting applications from all architectural and engineering candidates, but the preferred backgrounds are Architect, Mechanical Engineer, or Electrical Engineer. Candidates should have experience associated with capital improvement and maintenance projects. In addition to project management and design, tasks may also include acting as liaison to legislative and/or Operations and Maintenance personnel, and technical reviews. As needed, this position will also assist the Design and Construction Program Chief managing technical reviews, vendor evaluations, design guidelines, standard specifications, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field AND two (2) years of experience in engineering, architecture construction management or construction supervision.

OR

Associates degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field AND four (4) years of experience in engineering, architecture construction management or construction supervision.

OR

Six (6) years or more of experience in engineering, architecture, construction management, or construction supervision on multi-disciplinary commercial or industrial projects.

Note: Registration as a Professional Engineer or Architect may be substituted for up to two years of the engineering experience.
