Smart Mobility Chief Engineer
Introduction An employee in this class is responsible for highly professional engineering and supervisory work involving traffic engineering. The role includes project planning and design; right of way permitting intake and inspection; interagency project coordination, and oversight of some of Tampa’s SMART City initiatives. Nature Of Work An Employee in this class is responsible for performing a variety of assignments of unusual difficulty in administration and supervision of major engineering functions with in the Smart Mobility Division to include related budgetary actions. Under general direction, employees are required to exercise extensive initiative and independent judgment in selection of work methods
